Villa dell’Ombrellino Srl is a prestigious company that operates in three market segments:
- the hotel segment
- the hospitality trade
- the coffee shop segment
Seal of guarantee that certificates our commitment to top quality products.
The company gets its name from the wonderful Villa dell’Ombrellino in Florence, which dates back to 1372. This property had the unique destiny of housing some of the greatest personalities of all times, such as Galileo Galilei who spent considerable time at the Villa and Ugo Foscolo, who found inspiration there for his literary works. The legendary Villa has become a multifunctional space, with banqueting services ensured by Doney Ricevimenti.
We rely on a proven experience in the management of tourist facilities, including luxury hotels and tourist accommodation and hotel complexes in Rome, Milan, Sardinia and Cuba.
In 2013 our Group focused its attention on the Apulia region, taking over the historic Palace Hotel in Bari – with the spectacular restaurant Terrazza Murat on the 7th floor and the Palace Café on the city’s main street – and, in the heart of the Itria Valley, the former baronial residence Il Trappetello of Monopoli and the restaurant La Masseria of Mareggio, Taranto.
The Group has been managing for some years now – through the company Villa dell’Ombrellino – Nannini’s Coffee Bars “Conca d’Oro”, “Nannini Toselli”, “Nannini Massetana” and “Bar Matteotti”. The partnership with the renowned brand and historic pastry maker “Nannini” is based on coffee roasting, marketing and preservation of typical Sienese products such as ricciarelli, panforte, panpepato, cantucci, cavallucci and more.
Nannini coffee shops, which have become one of the best-known symbols of Siena, are also the ideal venues both for tourists and residents to enjoy food specialties at coffee breaks, brunches or aperitifs.
